Examiner is a site in which you apply to be the "Examiner" of a certain topic. You can be a National or Local Examiner and apply to write about thousands of topics. You can also be an Examiner for more than one topic.
Examiner pays you based upon the number of views your articles get. You also earn incentives (money) for creating certain types of articles (such as lists) or adding certain types of media to your articles (video, slideshows, etc..). The incentives change, but currently you can earn $1 for every article that you incorporate a video in up to 5 per week and $2 for every list you create up to 9 per week. That means a total of up to $23 per week before you factor in earnings for views on your articles.
Examiner gets great traffic as they have a connection with Google News and provided your articles meet certain Google News requirements, they can be promoted on Google News which generates great, quick and easy traffic.
Examiner does have an activity requirement and you must write at least one article every 60 days in order to maintain your Examiner title and your earnings. If you don't write once every 60 days you will lose your earnings that have not been paid out thus far, but don't worry, Examiner will give you plenty of warnings as the deadline comes up.
If you make the minimum of $10.00, you will receive payout around the 20th of the month following the month you reached payout. Examiner will pay you via Paypal.

Triond
Triond allows you to get paid to write articles without having some of the requirements of other paid to write sites have such as a high word count. However, Triond does require that all content be original and that you include tags (important for SEO!) and an image (from their collection of images) with your article.
At Triond you can earn money in three ways. The first is based upon page views. Triond is not forthcoming with an algorithm for earnings per page view and it varies based upon the site's income and the revenue brought in by your articles. (In other words, articles on different topics will earn different amounts per page view.) When you first join Triond, this is the only way to make money.
Once you have reached minimum payout (50 cents via Paypal), you can increase your earnings by integrating your Google Adsense ID. Your Adsense ID will be portrayed on Adsense ads on your articles 50% of the time. Triond's Adsense ID will be placed in the ads the other 50% of the time.
Additionally, once you have reached payout, you can also refer members to Triond. You will earn 10% of the revenue from your referrals' articles.

Hubpages
Hubpages
Hubpages is a program very similar to Squidoo. When writing for Hubpages, you build web pages (called hubs) rather than just write articles.
Hubpage Ad Program
Hubpages offers an Ad Program in which they share a percentage of the ad revenue generated from their premium ad partners. This allows "hubbers" (the term for those who create hubs at Hubpages) to have high quality ads that would otherwise not be offered to small publishers. Hubpages and each individual hubber share in the revenue generated from these premium ads on each individual hub.
Adsense
Hubbers can link their Adsense ID to their Hubpages account and 60% of the time Hubpages will include your Adsense ID is Adsense ads on your hubs and the other 40% of the time it will be the Hubpages Adsense ID.
Amazon Associates Program
If you are a member of the Amazon Associates Program (and if you aren't, you should be!), you can link your Amazon Associates ID to your Hubpage account and just like with Adsense, Hubpages will alternate between your ID and their ID.
eBay Partner Network
If you are a member of the eBay Partner Network, Hubpages will share revenue earned from eBay commission with you just as they do with Adsense and Amazon (alternating your affiliate ID with theirs).

Squidoo
Squidoo is a web 2.0 site where you can make money by creating webpages called "lenses." You can share links, include YouTube videos, add polls and quizzes, share Amazon products, and more on your Squidoo lenses. Check out the various ways to make money with your Squidoo lenses.
AdPool/LensRank
First, Squidoo pays a percentage of their ad revenue to users based upon the "lensrank" of their lenses. There are three tiers and users get paid a different percentage of the revenue based upon which tier their lenses are in. Tier 1 lenses are lenses with a lens rank of 2,000 or higher. Tier 2 lenses are lenses with a lensrank of 2,001-10,000. Tier 2 lenses are lenses with a lensrank of 10,001-85,000. Tier 1 lenses are paid more than Tier 2 lenses which are paid more than Tier 3 lenses.
Sales
Squidoo also shares the revenue earned from your specific lenses through profitable modules. For example, if you feature an item through one of the numerous Amazon modules and a reader purchases that item (or any item from Amazon using the link on your Squidoo page), Squidoo will share with you half of the commission they earn through the Amazon Associates program. This is also true for other profitable modules such as the iTunes module.
Affiliate Sales
You can also use Squidoo to sell and feature products for which you earn an affiliate commission such as products from Zazzle, AllPosters, or Clickbank.
Referrals
Squidoo will also pay you $5 for each of your referrals. You are paid the $5 once a referral earns $15 through Squidoo.
